The Truth About Anxiety and How to Conquer it Continuously
Anxiety is an energy that clothes trains of thought in order for you to be anxious. Anxiety is a mental state that leads to an emotional state of being anxious.
For one to feel anxious, they can only do so by having anxious trains of thought in the mind, and then anxiety is in full fruition by being felt.
In retrospect, I wouldn’t be aware of the trains of thought that lead to anxiety, but I would be aware of feeling anxious. I would then be stuck being anxious no matter how much I wished I wasn’t.
Failing to realize that I don’t defeat anxiety when it has already happened, I defeat it when it’s trying to happen through my thoughts. I defeat it when the specific thoughts I think are being specific to lead to anxiety.
These trains of thought solely exist on the negative plane. These thoughts are possessed by fear, worry, paranoia, or stress and inevitably become anxiety because thinking all these troubled thoughts has to manifest in some way, and indeed anxiety takes its place as the manifestation of such thinking, of such thought processes.
How to Beat Anxiety Every Time
You cut off anxiety’s legs not when it’s already standing, but when it’s sitting and trying to stand up, leaving it no legs to be stood on. Defeat anxiety by placing attention on being in the present moment because the essence of anxiety is living in the future without the future, or the past without the past, and it’s only ever the present.
Knowledge about anxiety is that it can only happen in the mind. It can only be regarding the future tense (or oddly the past tense), and the feeling of it is inspired by negative thinking or overthinking, and thus you also know that no negative overthinking means no anxiety.
For indeed you drive yourself to anxiety, and the vehicle is negative thinking about any future (or traumatic past), whether 5 minutes or 5 weeks from now. You already know what’s happening in the present tense, that’s why the present won’t make you anxious.
If you’re anxious in a present moment, it’s because that moment was anticipated and was anxiety before it actually happened.
Mindfulness is a practical key to begin defeating anxiety even as you read this article. Otherwise, being anxiety-free means you control your thoughts, and it’s thus not easy. The precision of thought is controlling not only your mind but your life as well. This is a skill worth fighting to acquire, especially if less significant skills have been achieved.
Perhaps it’s unrealistic to think only what you want as a practice of acquiring precision of thought. It should at least be a lifelong pursuit that has you reap its benefits at whatever capacity you have achieved it along the journey of pursuing it.
In learning how to catch anxious trains of thought before they reap anxiety, put your full attention on how you think of the future tense in your anxiety annihilation.
Being aware of when negative thoughts start is as powerful a step as when you have completed the final step of not having negative thoughts about any future because you said not to and your mind obeyed.
It does not help to be ruled by the thought of not being able to control your mind or control yourself. You only cannot control your mind because you do not practice controlling your mind. Practice your mind to obey you with little things each day.
And most importantly, practice not obeying your mind with little things each day as well.
A renowned practice to train your mind to obey you is mindful breathing, which is practicing having your attention where you want it—practicing self-control.
In order to feel anxious, you need to have been fully convinced of the negative thought pattern that inspired anxiety.
You need to have believed your mind. So, practice not obeying your mind, and practice having your mind obey you.
