A Human is An Eternal Spirit Being
Most people know that the universe is unending, but most are unaware that they are unending too. In truth, physical reality is a reflection of spiritual reality. The infinite universe reflects the spiritual reality of the eternal human spirit. As long as we are aware that we have thoughts and emotions, that is, an untouchable mind, we cannot deny being a spirit. Whatever exists but cannot be touched is spiritual, like peace and joy.
We have a physical brain that manifests an untouchable mind because we are human spirits. There is a spiritual reality within us that we are witnesses to, and so we can’t deny being spirits and therefore spiritual beings. To deny being a spirit, we would have to deny having a mind, thoughts, emotions, and an awareness of ourselves and our environment.
Why Is It Important to Know That You’re A Spirit
Self-knowledge cannot begin anywhere else but at the core of our very being. As a human, understanding that we are spirits is the key to our well-being, and it is the key to understanding everything else of great importance regarding our life. It is in our spirit that we can understand that because the spirit is from the spiritual realm, as it is untouchable in the physical realm, it cannot die in the physical realm. Therefore, our bodies may die, but our spirits will continue because nothing can touch it in this physical realm that the body is of.
It is only in the spiritual realm that the spirit can die. And because spiritual things are spiritual because they are eternal, as they are in the realm of the eternal God, we can understand that dying in the spiritual realm is completely different from dying in the physical realm. The physical and spiritual realms are opposites. Because the physical realm is temporary, we can be certain that the spiritual realm is eternal. And so, because Christ, who is God Almighty made manifest, is the only way, truth, and life, dying in the spiritual realm is a death by not having life. That is, if one is not in eternal life, then they are in eternal death.
Why You Desperately Need God
Eternity is only our last breath away. There is no limbo between leaving this physical realm and existing only in the spiritual realm. This is not fear. It is truth: If one dies without Christ, they have died without eternal life and will be in eternal death. Granted, we may feel independent and sufficient all we want, even though a lack of God is lacking joy, peace, love, goodness, very needed protection in this evil-filled world, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, but we have no plan of having our spiritual eternity in light and goodness if we have not received the free (most prized possession in the history of time) that is the gift of salvation and everlasting life through the only Source of life, light, and goodness, if we remain without Christ unto the physical death.
Jesus was raised from physical death by the spiritual Spirit of God, for though God made it so that He could be put to death (in laying down His Spirit), as He died innocent and sinless in the eyes of creation and the Creator, Jesus’ Spirit, the Holy Spirit, raised Christ’s body from the dead and resurrected Christ into eternal life. In truth, if Jesus was not hanged on a tree, He wouldn’t even have been able to die physically. But it is written: cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree. The pure became impure so that the impure could be pure. Jesus is the resurrection (and He is Mighty God), and that is why He could resurrect Lazarus, but Lazarus died physically again.
When Christ died and was raised from the dead, He was raised into eternal life—unto God because of His Perfection (dying sinless and fulfilling the Law of Moses). Indeed, He was wrongfully convicted and thus wrongfully hanged on a tree (though this was His perfect Will because He went and conquered hell, for He’s God over all). If we die in Christ, in His Spirit, in the sight of God Almighty, we die as His perfect Son who doesn’t deserve to die, and thus deserving to be raised unto everlasting life by the same Spirit that raised Jesus.
We must choose wisely how we will leave this world. Will we leave with the only Ticket to everlasting life that we all so desire because we are already eternal spirits and wish not to die and indeed never die? Or will we keep our pride and die twice: once through the body, and one last time to the eternal death that is eternally being without life and light? Factually, the choice is ours, and indeed this choice is already known by God and written in the stars (set forever).
Pray for God Not to Leave You Behind
But truthfully, the choice is God’s. I thank Him every day for not making me destined to despise and hate Him. And He is just, for those who will die without Him will have received their damning wish. But if you find yourself despising or not desiring Him, I implore you to ignore your emotions and thoughts and just say these words as the true life insurance you need: “Lord Jesus, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Give me a heart of flesh and take away this heart of stone. Save me. Holy Spirit, make me believe in Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray, Amen.”
Indeed, God will choose who will be in His eternal home. I say if you find yourself a skeptic or an unbeliever or the like, if you’ve ever begged for anything in your life, or begged for nothing in your life, beg Him to make you accept Him. Thinking you don’t believe in Him because it’s your choice to not is the biggest lie you’ll know. One only doesn’t believe because one is without the Holy Spirit of God, who comes to reveal Christ. Just as I believe only because I have the Holy Spirit and He made it so I believe. Indeed, I am richer than all the unbelieving billionaires combined. What about you?
