Time Management and Its Importance in our Daily Lives

Time is more precious than gold and diamonds because we can lose money and get it back but won’t get time back if we lose it. Time is the communication among humans that is like words but in numbers.

Time is a phenomenon made for humanity because there’s no other known form of life that is in need of numerical information. Time management is the realization that time is like a precious jewel and should be treated as so.

Phrases like ‘time flies’ or ‘time waits for no one’ are why time management is important.

Without the management of time, we are living in the free flow of life, and this isn’t wrong except when we have goals to achieve and dreams to realise, which is the assignment of humanity, to toil for the fruits of our labor and enjoy them.

Without toiling there might not be fulfillment, and enjoyment is all that we strive for.

Thus, time can’t be wasted when it could instead be utilized, especially because no one knows how much time they have on earth. This brings me to the point of not waiting for ourselves to achieve all we think we want, to enjoy any given moment in our life. We don’t have time to waste not only for goals but for everyday living too.

There’s no time to waste on not enjoying the journey of where we are trying to be. Who knows? We could get all we have strived for on a day and not wake up the following day.

This is why striving shouldn’t mean misery but should mean working on it. Time is too precious to postpone any goodness of life for the latter.

Tips on How to Manage Your Time

Tips on managing our time can include writing our goals down so we know what we don’t have time to lose for. Then breaking down those goals into activities and actionable tasks that we do on a daily at whatever small or big capacity that is possible.

Keeping up with those tasks is keeping up with our goals and time in unison. Remember, there is such as short-term goals, which are where your everyday joy, happiness, and contentment should lie, our everyday goals.

This may involve intimacy with ourselves, friends and family, and kindness to those who are not us, friends or family, and these will be our spiritual, emotional, and mental health fulfilled. Managing our time will have us realise also all the things we should not engage in because are they worth our time?

Controlling our time inevitably is controlling our life. Even if we have a boss working from 9 to 5, we must be aware that we have decided that those hours are worth striving for to get our goal, which is the pay-check that will have us achieve goals of paying rent or food or essentials.

Not forgetting that whether we like that job or not, we cannot afford (in time value) to be made miserable by those everyday tasks (of going to work) in achieving our goals. Time management is continuous decision-making of the best decisions that mean our happiness, contentment, and our prospering.
